Once again, SAP TechEd will be a great way to learn more about SAP’s latest user experience solutions. Before the main conference begins, ASUG has several pre-conference sessions on a variety of hot topics. One that I am excited to participate in is called “How to Make Your User Experience Awesome and Your Business Users Happy.” This is a full-day seminar for an additional fee.
The theme of this session is how to assess the user experience gaps in your organization (using design thinking and other techniques) and develop a plan to make SAP more intuitive for your employees. We will include a combination of customer case studies, hands-on exercises, and lectures from SAP customers and SAP employees. There will be (quick) demos of all the new UX tools so you will leave knowing what is possible and which solutions to apply to which problems. You will have the rest of TechEd to go deeper into topics that interest you the most.
By looking holistically at the UX journey, you will be able to identify potential pitfalls that you can avoid. The focus will be on how to scale a simplified UX across your enterprise and monitor progress.
The overall objectives are for you to:
- Recognize the key components of a user experience strategy and how to create the right approach for your business
- Understand how to prioritize your UX objectives and validate with business users
- Learn how to create a plan for building, testing, deploying, measuring, and continuously improving new UX solutions
